Abstract:
The invention concerns the signalling, to a pilot of a moving craft, for example an aircraft, of lateral maneuver margins taking into account obstacles placed in the maneuvering zone. Said device determines the maneuvering zone of the vehicle, the contours of a first type of risk region (ZRISK) required to be bypassed and those of two other types of risk regions (ZTURN1 and ZTURN2) consisting of lateral margins surrounding the first type of risk region (ZRISK) of lesser widths than separation thresholds (ZTURN1) or their upper limit (ZTURN2) considered to be necessary for a lateral maneuver without constraint and displays same for the pilot of the moving craft. The determination of the separation thresholds takes into account the bearing angle under which a point (P) of the contour of the first type of risk region (ZRISK) is seen from the moving craft.
