A device and a method for space digital geodetic survey are provided. The device includes a measuring staff (AB), a dot light source structure (7), a remote sensing image detecting device (12) and a computer (6). The remote sensing image detecting device (12) includes a telescope objective lens (L1), a coupling objective lens (L2) and a camera zoom objective lens (L3) fixed by a bracket (3). The camera zoom objective lens (L3) and a digital camera body (5) are connected with each other and are disposed in a front casing (1) and a rear casing (2) respectively. The front casing (1) and the rear casing (2) are sealed and fixed to the bracket (3) having a through hole. The remote sensing image detecting device (12) is fixed to a revolving stage (11) with the bracket (3). The dot light source structure (7) comprising a light source (18) is positioned facing the remote sensing image detecting device (12) such that light emitted from the dot light source structure (7) reaches a CCD type digital camera (4) through the lenses.
