Abstract:

A device and a method for stamping a band-like member. In the device for stamping a molded ribbon-like rubber strip (4) around a rotary body (2) through a clearance between a pair of stamping rollers (11), a guide roller (7) around which the rubber strip (4) is wrapped and which forms a downward U-shaped bypass passage for the rubber strip is disposed midway in a route for the molded rubber strip (4) running to the pair of stamping rollers (11), and first and second auxiliary rollers (6) and (8) are disposed at the rear and front sides of the guide roller (7). The pair of stamping rollers (11) are formed to be integrally swingable, together with the guide roller (7) and the second auxiliary roller (8), in a horizontal plane about the first auxiliary roller (6) by the guide roller (7).
