Abstract:

The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, and in particular, to a device, method, and system for processing user data, so as to provide a flexible user data processing solution for a gateway user plane GW-U. In the device for processing user data provided by embodiments of the present invention, an interface management unit receives user data; at least two service units process the user data, wherein the at least two service units comprise a session unit and at least one of a bearing unit, a service flow unit, and a content unit; the interface management unit determines a session unit for processing the user data, and sends the received user data to the determined session unit; the session unit determines another service unit for processing the user data. After receiving user data, the GW-U determines a service unit for processing the user data and uses the determined service unit to process the user data, thus improving the processing flexibility of the GW-U.
