Abstract:
A device and method for testing the radial gas permeability of concrete, the device comprising a pressure device and a gas transmission device; the pressure device comprises samples (6), rigid sealing devices (1) disposed between upper and lower ends of the samples (6), loading devices (15) acting on the rigid sealing devices (1), induction washers (2) placed between the samples (6) and contact surfaces of the rigid sealing devices (1), and a multimeter (5) connected to an induction washer (2); and the gas transmission device is connected to the pressure device. By means of embedding flexible sensors in elastic washers to prepare self-inductive washers (2) so as to monitor the load received by the samples (6), the device achieves concrete sealing and the quantification of the load; moreover, the quantitative real-time capture of air pressure changes in the process of gas permeation is achieved by means of a high-precision barometer (8) in the gas transmission device, thus solving the problem of the quantitative characterization of a coefficient of the radial gas permeability of concrete.
