Abstract:
A device and a method for testing a secondary battery are provided. The device comprises: a test path; test terminals provided at both ends of the test path and configured to be electrically connected respectively to anode and cathode terminals of a secondary battery; a sensor unit provided on the test path and configured to measure discharge current of the secondary battery; a constant voltage generating unit provided on the test path and configured to maintain a constant voltage between the secondary battery and the sensor unit; and a control unit configured to measure an inflection point on a profile of the discharge current by receiving data of the discharge current from the sensor unit, to measure the magnitude of the discharge current on the basis of the inflection point, and to test the magnitude of self-discharge on the basis of the magnitude of the discharge current.
