Abstract:
The invention relates to a device and method for loading load units (101), wherein transport palettes (50) loaded with two load units (101) are transported along a transport path to a transfer device (30). The two load units (101) are transferred onto a loading head (1) to the transfer device (30). The two load units (101) are transferred, using the loading head (1), to transport means. Said transfer device (30) and/or the loading head (1) respectively comprise a retaining device (33) from which the two load units (101) used for transfer can be detached.
