Abstract:
The invention relates to a device and a method for verification of a security or value document provided with a security feature applied on a support. A linear verification sensor contains an arrangement of raster elements, by means of which the entire surface of the support may be scanned, whereby the security feature is irradiated with stimulating light and the raster elements of the linear arrangement comprise a sensor IC row, receiving the light from the security or value document.
