Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for wet blasting one or more workpieces (5), comprising at least one container (15) for accommodating and dispensing a suspension (10) that contains abrasives (12), at least one blasting device (8), such as for example a blast gun (9), for blasting the suspension (10) onto the one or more workpieces (5), said blasting device (8) being connected to the container (15) by at least one feed line (16), said feed line (16) especially having a valve (30) that can optionally be opened or closed, and the apparatus (1) comprising at least one pressure application device (17) for optionally applying pressure to the suspension (10). In order to improve said apparatus, the apparatus (1) comprises at least one pressurized air feed device (19) which has at least one pressurized air feed line (21) and at least one pressurized air source (32), the pressurized air feed line (21) being connected to the feed line (16) and being connected to the pressurized air source (32) either directly or indirectly. The apparatus further has at least one valve (26, 29) in the pressurized air feed line (21) which valve can be optionally opened and closed. The invention further relates to a method for wet blasting one or more workpieces (5).
