Abstract:
A device for mounting a driver seat airbag module comprises: a hook formed at a mounting plate provided at the center of a vehicle steering wheel; and a hook catching part, which is formed in a housing for accommodating an airbag in a folded state and catches the hook. The hook catching part comprises: hook holes formed on a lateral wall of the housing; a pair of supporting parts formed to face each other around the hook hole at the inner side of the lateral wall of the housing, and having upper parts supported by the inner side of the lateral wall of the housing; and stopping steps connected to the lower part of each supporting part and protruding toward the outer side of the housing. Spacer members for reducing noise and friction with the hook are provided at upper ends of the stopping steps. The spacer members can be easily coupled to upper surfaces of the stopping steps at the outer side of the housing through the hook holes.
