Abstract:
A rodless cylinder wherein, in order to make the cylinder compact in size and stable by decreasing the height of an element movable along a cylinder body, the height of a stopper mounting base being an obstacle to these purposes is decreased, and further a stopper locking mechanism with an adjusting screw suitable for these purposes is provided. For this purpose, in the rodless cylinder provided with the stopper mounting base on the top surface of the cylinder body, symmetrical inclined surfaces opposed to downwardly inclined surfaces at the opposite outer surfaces of the cylinder body are provided at opposite ends of the stopper mounting base, a clamp metal fixture provided with inclined surfaces facing the aforesaid two sets of inclined surfaces are fastened to the aforesaid two sets of inclined surfaces by mounting bolts. Furthermore, locking of a stopper threadably coupled to the stopper mounting base on the cylinder body is performed by fastening a lock plate threadably coupled to the stopper to the stopper mounting base by a bolt.
