Abstract:
The invention relates to devices producing a reactive force for moving aircraft. The inventive device is embodied in the form of a MHD generator which comprises a toroidal body (1) made of a non-magnetic material whose hermetical cavity is filled with water. The inner surface of said body is coated with a material having a dielectric permeability factor higher than the dielectric permeability factor of water. Said device also comprises an electromagnetic system provided with coils (2) exciting a running magnetic field which produces the motion of a water flow in one direction along the cavity of the toroidal body (1); coils (3) producing e.m.f. and a unit for ionising water. Lifting and/or tractive force is produced by the interaction of the Lorentz force in a circular current field produced by the circular motion of an ionised water flow with external magnetic fields. Said lifting and/or tractive force can be also produced by one-side running off of electrostatic charges produced during the operation of the device from the toroidal body (1).
