Abstract:
This device for opening and closing an opening/closing body is provided with a rotation drive member, a driving force transmission member, an urging member, and a guide member. The rotation drive member is driven in a rotating manner by the driving force from a driving unit. The driving force transmission member is driven by the rotation drive member, and moves in the direction of the axis of rotation of the rotation drive member. The urging member is disposed on the outer periphery of the driving force transmission member, and applies a biasing force to the driving force transmission member in the direction of the axis of rotation. The guide member is disposed on the outer periphery of the biasing member, and guides the driving force transmission member. The guide member has a guide part for guiding the driving force transmission member in the direction of the axis of rotation while restricting rotation of the driving force transmission member. Since the driving force transmission member has a guided part that is guided by the guide part, the outer diameter can be reduced.
