Abstract:

　Provided is a device for opening and closing a vehicle door, the device being configured so as tend not to readily affect the movement stroke of a moving member. A closing reversing member (5) around which a closing cable (10) is wound is disposed on the bottom-surface side of the front end section of a center guide rail (2), and an opening reversing member (7) around which an opening cable (11) is wound is disposed on the top-surface side of the rear end section of the center guide rail (2). On the bottom part of a moving member (9) that moves along the center guide rail (2) is provided a closing connection part (91) to which the closing cable (10) is connected, and on the top part of the moving member (9) is provided an opening connection part (92) to which the opening cable (11) is connected. The closing cable (10) is thus enabled to move along the bottom surface of the center guide rail (2), and the opening cable (11) is enabled to move along the top surface of the center guide rail (2).
