Abstract:
A cell transfer device (S) comprises: a head (61) provided with a chip (10) attached to the bottom end thereof; a control unit (7) which controls the movement of the head (61) so as to make the chip (10) perform a suction operation for sucking cells (C); and an input unit (75) capable of inputting data into the control unit (7). The input unit (75) receives, as suction control data (D1), at least one data selected from among first data relating to the form of containers (2, 3), second data relating to a medium and third data relating to the cells. In making the chip (10) to perform the suction operation, the control unit (7) controls the displacement along the vertical direction of the chip (10) and/or the suction amount of the cells (C) and medium (L) sucked from a suction port (t) into the chip (10) depending on the suction control data (D1).
