Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for piloting an electric motor (20) for driving a mobile conductor element (18) of a power switch connected to a power circuit (28) connected to two terminals (P, M) of an electrical battery pack, especially pertaining to a motor vehicle. The mobile element (18) can be displaced between opening and closing positions of the power switch. Said piloting device comprises static-type means (36) forming a power supply switch for the motor, said means comprising at least one transistor (T1, T'1) and being connected to a power supply circuit (40) for the motor (20), which, in turn, is connected to two terminals (P, M) of the battery. The inventive device also comprises static-type safety means (50) provided with a freewheeling diode (R1, R'1) connected to each transistor (T1, T'1), for the automatic displacement of the power mobile element (18) into the opening position when the polarities of the terminals (P, M) of the battery are inopportunely inverted.
