DEVICE FOR PREVENTING CAUGHT-IN OF LABEL WITHOUT MOUNT IN THERMAL PRINTER

To provide a device for preventing the caught-in of a label without a mount in a thermal printer wherein a label (3) without a mount can be prevented from being caught in a platen roller (13) without being affected by a drop in non-viscosity, due to continuous use, of the platen roller (13), and a stabilized transport of the label (3) with a mount can be guaranteed.  Attention is focused on attaching a caught-in preventing plate (23) to a slit (22) formed in the radial direction of the platen roller (13), and on forming a caught-in preventing protrusion end (29) at a part of the plate (23).  The device for preventing the caught-in of a label without a mount is characterized in that the caught-in preventing plate (23) which can be fixed relatively to the platen roller (13) is provided in the slit (22) formed in the platen roller (13) in the plane in the radial direction of the platen roller (13), and the caught-in preventing protrusion end (29) which projects slightly from the outer circumferential surface of the platen roller (13) and can touch the back surface of the label (3) without a mount is formed at a part of the plate (23).
