Abstract:
A device for preventing cooling water from dripping, adapted to be connected to a spot welding machine. The device (1) for preventing cooling water from dripping comprises a cylindrical body (5); the opening portion at one end of the cylindrical body (5) is connected to a cooling water passage (41), and the center of the other end of the cylindrical body (5) is provided with a guide hole (5b). Air cylinders (6) each having a piston rod (6a) extended and retracted along the centerline (C1) of the cylindrical body (5) are provided in parallel in a direction orthogonal to the centerline (C1). A separation plate (5d) and a guide rod (5c) are provided inside the cylindrical body (5); the separation plate (5d) divides the interior of the cylindrical body (5) into a space (S1) on the cooling water passage (41) side and a space (S2) on the guide hole (5b) side; the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body (5) is sealed; the guide rod (5c) extends on the centerline (C1), and is slidably inserted into the guide hole (5b) in contact; one end of the guide rod (5c) is connected to the separation plate (5d), and the other end side of the guide rod (5c) is provided with a support (9) connecting the other end of the guide rod (5c) to the front end of the piston rod (6a). The device for preventing cooling water from dripping can prevent cooling water from dripping from the front end of a welding torch, and even if the electrode is repeatedly replaced, the air cylinder would not fail.
