Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for preventing fueling errors disposed in the fuel path which is between a fuel filler opening and a fuel tank. A flap valve is disposed on one of the first and second sliders which are disposed opposite each other with the fuel path positioned therebetween. When a fueling nozzle having a predetermined diameter is inserted, one of the two sliders move in the separation direction thereof as the fuel nozzle abuts said slider, allowing the other slider to move in the separation direction. As a result, the flap valve is allowed to be opened.
