Title:
DEVICE FOR PRODUCING ARTIFICIAL SKIN USING CELLS DIFFERENTIATED FROM INDUCED PLURIPOTENT STEM CELLS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/010279
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to artificial skin using fibroblasts and keratinocytes, and, more specifically, to a device for producing artificial skin using cells differentiated from induced pluripotent stem cells. In this regard, the device for producing artificial skin using cells differentiated from induced pluripotent stem cells comprises: a 3D printer (100) that can independently transport a flat plate (120) on orthogonally arranged X, Y, and Z axes; a fibroblast solution container (150), fixedly mounted on the top, for storing fibroblasts differentiated from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs); a keratinocyte solution container (140), positioned adjacent to the fibroblast solution container (150), for storing keratinocytes differentiated from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs); a first transport tube (145) with one end connected to the keratinocyte solution container (140) and the other end connected to a spraying device (160); a second transport tube (155) with one end connected to the fibroblast solution container (150) and the other end connected to the spraying device (160); and the spraying device (160) equipped with a first nozzle and a second nozzle wherein the first nozzle is connected with the first and second transport tubes (145, 155) independently at the top and with the first transport tube (145) at the bottom, and the second nozzle is connected with the second transport tube (155).
