Abstract:
A device for producing a field-pole magnetic body provided to rotating electrical machinery, the magnetic body formed by layering together magnet segments formed by breaking apart a permanent magnet, is provided with: an accommodating part for sequentially accommodating a plurality of magnet segments coated on the cleaved surfaces with an adhesive and arranged with the cleaved surfaces facing each other, the accommodating part having inner surfaces adjacent to the outer surfaces of the accommodated magnet segments; and a pressing means that causes the magnet segments accommodated in the accommodating part to be pressed in a longitudinal direction toward the bottom of the accommodating part. When the magnet pieces are pressed by the pressing means, the magnet pieces are restrained in the width direction and thickness direction by the inner surfaces of the accommodating part.
