Abstract:
A device (20) for producing a fused sheet body is provided with: an irradiation head (35) having a lens (351); a support member (21) for transporting a belt-like sheet laminate (10); and a pressing member (24) for applying pressure to the sheet laminate (10). The support member (21) has slit-like opening parts (27) through which laser light (30) can pass. In cross-sectional view, both end parts (21e) of the support member (21) forming the opening parts (27) have tapered parts (211), the space therebetween being wider towards the irradiation head (35) than towards the pressing member (24). The production device (20) cuts the sheet laminate (10), to which pressure is applied, by irradiating same with laser light (30) along the opening parts (27), and fuses the cut edges while the edges overlap, thereby continuously producing a fused sheet body (3) having sealed edges (4).
