Abstract:
A device (1) for producing glass sheet, in which a molten glass (g) is caused to flow down from a formed object (3) to form a glass ribbon (G), and the width-direction ends (Ga) of the glass ribbon (G) are sandwiched from the front and back sides with respective pairs of cooling rollers (5), the cooling rollers (5) having roller shafts (5a) arranged so as to extend from the width-direction center side to each width-direction end side of the glass ribbon (G). The cooling rollers (5) have been configured so that the peripheral surface of each cooling roller catches the glass ribbon (G) and thereby inhibits the glass ribbon (G) from shrinking in the width direction.
