Abstract:
A device (2) for providing vacuum for medical applications, in particular for vacuum treatment of wounds on the human or animal body, with a housing (6), which comprises a first housing part (8) and a second housing part (10) and comprises a dimensionally stable holding part (4) for placing the device (2) on a support (30), in particular on a bedstead, a bar and/or a frame, which holding part (4) is pivotable with respect to the housing (6) between a use position (G), in which it protrudes at least partially from the housing (6), and a stowage position (S), in which it bears at least partially, preferably along its entire extent, on the housing (6).
