Abstract:
A device for pumping a fluid medium comprising a casing (1), the cavity (4) in the upper part (2) of which is connected through selector valves (5, 9) to the atmosphere and to an inlet main (6), whereas in the lower part (3) of the casing (1) is mounted, with the possibility of its reciprocating movement, an actuating element (13) partitioning the cross-section of said part of the casing and provided with a unidirectional valve connecting a reservoir (12) for the fluid medium to the cavity in the upper part (2) of the casing (1). The actuating element with the unidirectional valve consists of an elastic sleeve (13) one end of which is fixed, along its perimeter, to the wall of the lower part (3) of the casing (1), whereas the second end is hingedly connected, through elements (3) regularly fixed along its periphery, to a flexible link (15) passing through the sleeve (13) and connected to a drive for displacement, in the direction of the upper part (2) of the casing (1), of the second end of the sleeve (13) which closes inwardly during that displacement, and for the displacement of that end of the sleeve (13) in the opposite direction the cavity of the upper part (2) of the casing (1) is connected to a compressed air source (8).
