Abstract:
The proposed device for pumping a fluid medium comprises a casing (1). In the casing (1) a rotor (2) is mounted, which comprises a shaft (3) with a plurality of disks (4) mounted on it, and a partition (5) fixed to the walls of the casing (1) along the axis of the shaft (3) so that a suction zone (6) and a compression zone (7) are formed. The walls of the casing (1) form a through-channel in which is mounted an additional partition (8) fixed on the same walls of the casing (1) along the axis of the shaft (3) so that an additional suction zone (9) and an additional compression zone (10) are formed. Both partitions (5) and (8) are located on opposite sides in relation to the rotor (2).
