Abstract:

Disclosed are a device for recommending a location in a building by using a fingerprint of an access point, and a method using the same. The location of the access point can be detected by collecting the fingerprint of the access point from terminals of a plurality of users, the locations of shops in the building can be detected by using the fingerprint and a payment history of the plurality of users, and a location can be recommended to a user to whom the recommendation is to be provided, on the basis of a meta route by using a meta map generated by integrating the location of the access point and the locations of the shops with an indoor map of the building. By enabling indoor positioning using information acquired from the terminals of the plurality of users to detect the location of the access point, an effort for establishing, in advance, an infrastructure of the access point in the building can be reduced. In addition, since a location change of the access point due to a malfunction or an exchange and shops moving into the building can be easily updated, a location can be recommended through more recent information.
