Abstract:
A device for recovering heat of molten slag, having a simple structure and high heat recovery efficiency. A device for recovering heat of molten slag is provided with: a fluid layer (3) formed by fluidizing a fluid medium (32) which is formed by crushing solidified slag; a slag pool (4) for supplying molten slag to the fluid layer; a heat transfer tube (7) for recovering heat from the fluid layer, and a solidified slag-withdrawing device (21) for withdrawing solidified slag (34) formed by solidification of the molten slag in the fluid layer. Molten slag droplets (31) are dropped from the slag pool (4) into the fluid layer (3). The molten slag droplets solidify in the fluid layer, and the heat generated during the solidification is transferred to the heat transfer tube (7) through the fluid medium (32). The heat transfer coefficient between the heat transfer tube and the fluid medium is approximately 10 times the heat transfer coefficient between gas and the heat transfer tube. As a result, the area of heat transfer necessary for obtaining the same amount of heat recovery can be reduced to reduce the size of the device.
