Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] A device for sufficiently reducing motion of a marine structure. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A device for reducing motion of a marine structure has a hollow-cylindrical floating marine structure; overhanging structures installed at portions on the upper parts of side walls of the floating marine structure, the portions being separated from the lower ends, underneath the water surface, of the side walls; surrounding walls arranged at least below or above the overhanging structures; and circulation openings formed between the overhanging structures and the surrounding walls.
