Abstract:
A developed device, driven by vibrators (3) is built onto the lower conical part (1) of a vertical silo for the storage of bulk salt (I) to break up compacted particles caused by the action of humidity and freezing during the winter period of use of the silo. By selecting the frequency and strength of the vibrator, the transfer of vibrations is achieved via the two-part steel cape (4) and the conical part of the silo (1) upon opening the release valve (2).
