DEVICE FOR REMOVING FIN FROM FISH BODY

An automatic device for removing fins from a fish body capable of increasing a removing efficiency by increasing a treatment speed and suppressing a manufacturing cost by simplifying the device and eliminating the need of precise control. The device comprises a guide rail (1) horizontally disposed over its entire length and horizontally supporting the fish body (01) with its cut-out abdominal region facing downward and its caudal fin (010) facing forward, fish body carrying means (8) and (12) holding the caudal fin of the fish body and carrying it on the guide rail, fin removing means (30), (50), and (70) disposed along the guide rail and having cutting edges disposed so that they touch the fins of the fish body under the transportation on the guide rail, and a fish body discharging means (80) having a cutter (81) cutting the portion of the fish body near its caudal fin in the state of the fish body unloaded from the guide rail and suspended while the caudal fin of the fish body is held by the fish body carrying means.
