Abstract:
Provided is a device for removing hard components, the device making it possible to suppress degradation of water-treating members and to effectively cleanse and re-use the water-treating members while integrating an iron- and manganese-removing treatment and a cation exchange treatment. This device 100 for removing hard components has a water treatment container 1 that is vertically segmented into at least three treatment parts by partitioning plates 11, 12, a first treatment part 21 and an iron- and manganese-removing catalyst layer 31 that are located above the uppermost partitioning plate 11, a second treatment part 22 and an activated carbon layer 32 that are located above the lower partitioning plate 12, a third treatment part 23 and a cation exchange resin layer 33 that are located below the partitioning plate 12, a first flushing pipe 41 that passes from an upper section of the water treatment container 1 to the outside, a second flushing pipe 42 that passes from above the iron- and manganese-removing catalyst layer to the outside, a third flushing pipe 43 that passes from above the activated carbon layer 32 to the outside, a fourth flushing pipe 44 that passes from above the cation exchange resin layer 33 to the outside, and a fifth flushing pipe 45 that passes from a lower section of the water treatment container 1 to the outside.
