Abstract:
Provided is a device for securing chair casters, whereby a chair can be stably secured by automatically locking the wheels due to the load applied to the casters when a user sits on the chair. The present invention is a device for securing casters which are joined at the bottoms of the legs of the chair in such a way as to be able to swivel by means of a rotational shaft, wherein: passing through the body of the caster, an elongated hole for the passage of a central shaft joined to rotational wheels is formed in an oval shape that allows up-and-down movement of the central shaft; respectively inserted into a vertical insertion hole which connects through to the elongated hole in the center of the caster body there are a resilient spring which responds to the load applied as a user sits on the chair, and a shaft supporting body through which the central shaft is inserted and which is linked in movement with the same; and formed on the lower parts at both sides of the caster body there are locking projections for securing the rotational wheels, that are joined to both ends of the central shaft, by engaging with recessed parts in the rotational wheels.
