Best Mode for the Invention

Now, an explanation on a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be in detail given with reference to attached drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1 through FIG. 3, a clip shooting device according to the present invention comprises: a body divided into a first half body 10 and a second half body 10a; a trigger 20 having a rotating means 21 which is fit into a hole defined in a engagement member 11 protrudinly formed integrally with the first half body, so that the first half body 10 and the second half body 10a are engageably assembled with each other to prevent separation therebetween; a clip pushing member 40 having a retaining

groove 42 formed therein for cooperating with a retaining tongue 22 which is protruded outwardly from the upper end of the trigger 20 by a predetermined length, and elastically supported by means of a spring 30 fixed at one end to the first half body 10 so as to enable an automatic rearward-movement after a forward-movement thereof by means of a toggling operation of the trigger 20; a pressurizing plate 50 for forwardly pushing a clip loaded one by one, while the clip pushing member ■ 40 is forwardly and rearwardly driven; a pressurizing spring 60 connected at one end to the pressuring plate 50 for continuously maintaining a state where the loaded clip is forwardly pushed by the pressuring plate 50; and a cover plate 70 mounted on the first and second half bodies assembled with each other for allowing a clip to be loaded thereunder and providing a resilience to the pressurizing spring 60.

In this case, the clip shooting device comprises a double-stage guide rail 12 integrally formed on the first half body 10 in such a manner that one of a pair of guide protrusions 41 formed on the clip pushing member 40 is fit between the double-stage guide rail 12, so that a front end portion 43 of the clip pushing member 40 is moved downwardly upon the rearward-movement of the clip pushing member 40 and is moved upwardly upon the forward-movement of the clip pushing member, whereby the clip pushing member 40 forwardly pushes a clip one by one during the forward and rearward-movement thereof.

The body composed of first half body 10, and the second half body 10a is provided at the rear portion thereof with a grip 13 for facilitating the pulling of the trigger 20, the grip having an interior space 14 defined between the first and second half bodies, and a lid 15 detachably

mounted on the second half body 10a, so that the body can be used as a case for accommodating clips therein.

Also, a longitudinal guideway is integrally formed on the double-stage guide rail 12, and has an extended portion 19 formed at the rear portion thereof, so that the front end portion of the clip pushing member 40 descends accurately while the guide protrusions 41 are slidably moved onto the double-stage guide rail 12 during the forward and rearward-movement of the clip pushing member, whereby the clip pushing member 40 is positioned under the extended portion 19 with the front end portion 43 descending when moving rearwardly.

Furthermore, the clip shooting device further comprises a clip widening member 80 for inducing the opening of two abutting front end portions of the clip loaded so as to allow the clip to bind sheets of paper, and has an engagement hole 81 drilled at the rear end portion of a V- shape to be fit onto a corresponding standing protrusion 16 integrally formed at the front end portion of the clip guideway, so that the clip widening member 80 is securely fixed at the bodies to prevent its separation from the standing protrusion after the assembling of the bodies.

At this time, the assembling of the bodies is performed by screwing. In addition, the clip shooting device further comprises a separate lid 90 disposed on the body so that the clip widening member is securely mounted in the body to facilitate assembling thereof.

Furthermore, the bodies have a loading cassette 18 defined inside the upper portion thereof and a clip insertion opening 17 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rear portion thereof, so that clips are loaded into

the loading cassette 18 through the clip insertion opening 17. And the pressuring plate 50 elastically supported by the pressurizing spring is connected to a cover plate 70, so that the loaded • clip is pushed forward by the spring pressurized when the cover plate is closed.

Furthermore, the pressurized plate 50 has a latching protrusion 51 formed at the top portion thereof to be caught by the rear end of the lid 90 so as to prevent the pressurized plate 50 from being moved further forwardly under the lid 90, thereby preventing the pressurizing spring 60 from being loose.

Accordingly, when the trigger 20 is pulled, the retaining tongue 22 is driven forwardly to cooperate with the retaining groove 42 and pushes the clip pushing member 40, so that the guide protrusions 41 slide onto the double- stage guide rail 12, thereby forwardly pushing a clip one by one.

The advanced clip is widened by means of the clip widening member 80 so as to allow the clip bind sheets of paper.

Accordingly, in the present invention, sheets of paper are bound by shooting clips in response to actuation of a trigger, thereby arising the interest of a user. This actuation of the trigger allows a clip pushing member to ascend and descend by means of the cooperative operation of the guide protrusions and the double-stage guide rail, thereby performing an accurate operation. In addition, the grip has an interior space defined in the body for accommodating clips therein, so that the dual function of a case and a clip driver can be implemented.
