Abstract:
A subdividing device provided with: a table having a ring-shaped groove; a feeding mechanism for feeding particulate matter of specified regions, region by region; and a control unit. The feeding mechanism can be switched between a feeding position and a standby position. A feeder and a dam are capable of rotating as a unit in one direction around a transverse axis. After placing the feeding mechanism in the feeding position, the control unit rotates either the table or the feeding mechanism relative to the other while feeding a powdered medicine from the ring-shaped groove using the feeder. Moreover, while the feeding mechanism moves from the standby position to the feeding position prior to the initial feeding after the powdered medicine has been supplied into the ring-shaped groove, the control unit rotates the feeder and the dam from a base position to a feed preparation position, which is a position on the base position side of the feed starting position at which the feeder begins feeding the powdered medicine.
