Description:
DEVICE SUITABLE FOR REDUCING ELECTROMAGNETIC POLLUTION EFFECTS ON HUMAN BODY

State of the Art

Many studies have demonstrated the harmful effect of magnetic radiations emitted by household appliances and in particular by mobile phones, computers, televisions, microwave ovens.

Damage caused by these radiations ranges from headaches to leukemia, passing through a variety of disorders such as insomnia, irritability, etc.

In order to reduce electromagnetic pollution, there are projects, such as electric line undergrounding, which can solve some electromagnetic pollution types, being however very expensive and taking a long time to be realized. There are also remedies which can be quickly implemented and which can solve a wider range of electromagnetic pollution types such as the one caused by small household appliances and in particular by mobile phones. For a long time, for example, graphite's property to have an excellent electrical conductivity and therefore to be able to absorb many types of electromagnetic radiations and waves is known.

By studies it was found that graphite performs at best the ability to capture electromagnetic waves when placed in the vicinity of an emitter device. As the mobile phone is a device which emits a large amount of electromagnetic waves and which is used more frequently during the day, graphite must be placed in proximity to the ear and the mobile phone, especially when this is used i.e. when the electromagnetic wave emission is maximum.

Description of the invention

The object of the present invention is a device for placing powdered graphite in proximity to the mobile phone, preferably when this is used.

The present invention provides for a cruet or small container having a shape matching the shape of commonly used objects, which can be placed within personal items of common use such as rings, earrings, brooches and pendants hanging from the neck, watches, pen caps, brooches to insert in buttonholes of jacket lapels, buttons etc., the container is filled with powdered graphite and is preferably crossed by a conductor wire acting as an antenna; during the day graphite absorbs electromagnetic waves, thus subtracting them to human body, and in the evening it can be regenerated by placing it in the vicinity of a water pipe or a radiator or by introducing it, via special connection, in a socket that is only provided with the earthing.

The container surrounding graphite can be made of any conductor material, iron, silver, gold, glass, brass, copper whereas wood must be excluded, being an excellent insulator.

Description of the drawings

The invention will be now described with reference to some possible embodiments given only by way of example, which is not limiting, in view of the attached drawings, in which:

Figure 1 shows a sectional view of an earring with the container for graphite and antenna,

Figure 2 shows a front view of the earring of figure 1 ,

Figure 3 shows a view of an opened pendant with the graphite container on the inside,

Figure 4 shows a front view of the pendant of figure 3,

Figure 5 shows a side view of the pendant of figures 3 and 4,

Figure 6 shows a sectional view of a ring with the graphite container on the inside,

Figure 7 shows a partially top view of the ring of figure 7

Figure 8 shows a watch bezel containing graphite.

Description of the preferred embodiment With reference to said figures and particularly to figures 1 , 2, the device suitable for reducing electromagnetic pollution effects on human body comprises a container housed within an object of personal use such as an earring.

The container (1) is crossed by a wire (3) of conductor material such as gold, copper etc. which is connected to a hook (4) enabling to hang the earring to the ear; at the bottom, the earring (2) and container (1) have means (5) for opening/closing the container (1) which allow to insert/replace graphite on the inside.

Externally the earring looks like any jewel, but graphite contained inside and the antenna (3) connected to the hook (4) allow to capture electromagnetic waves emitted by a mobile phone when this is brought near the ear to talk. Figure 3 shows an embodiment wherein the graphite container (7) is placed within a pendant (10) and crossed by an antenna (8) connected to an eyelet (9) through which the chain (11), that can be worn around the neck, passes. The graphite container (7) is enclosed in the pendant (10) and can be opened to insert/replace graphite contained in it.

Figure 6 shows a sectional view of a ring (14), whose upper drum-shaped section encloses the container (12) of graphite (13) which, as in the aforementioned solutions, can be opened to insert/replace graphite contained in it; even this solution is particularly effective because the ring (14) containing graphite (13) and the mobile phone come to be very close during the use of the mobile phone.

Figure 8 shows a solution wherein the graphite container is housed in an external bezel (16) of a watch (15) so that, as in the previous case, graphite comes to be very close to the mobile phone during the conversation.

As mentioned above, there are other realizations able to satisfy the requirements in order to put a certain amount of graphite into a container, preferably provided with an internal antenna, which can be placed in proximity to the mobile phone.

An alternative solution to those described is to insert graphite in a button which will be either placed on clothes or made integral with a watch strap through special means. A further solution is to realize a tubular bracelet, whose internal side is filled with graphite powder.

Another solution may be a brooch containing graphite powder to pin to clothes or to insert in a buttonhole of jacket lapels.

A further solution is to insert graphite in the hollow links of a metallic wristwatch strap.

An alternative solution is to insert graphite powder in a pen cap.

As aforementioned, graphite can be "discharged" from electromagnetic waves by connecting it to a pipeline or an object having an "earthed" discharge such as a radiator.

Alternatively, it is provided for a device for the magnetic energy discharge accumulated within graphite which has only one central pin to insert in an electrical socket having a ground connection, or a socket provided only with an earthing to which the electromagnetic device containing graphite is connected so as to discharge electromagnetic waves through the grounding of the electrical system.
