Abstract:
This device for supplying a tire-constituting member is provided with: a mounting unit (11) to which the tire-constituting member (W) is supplied from behind and on which the tire-constituting member (W) is mounted; a first holding means (12) which is disposed so as to be capable of holding the front end (W1) of the tire-constituting member (W) and so as to be movable; a second holding means (13) which is disposed so as to be capable of holding the rear end (W2) of the tire-constituting member having been cut to a fixed length and so as to be movable; a detection means for detecting the position of the front end of the tire-constituting member mounted on the mounting unit; and a control unit which calculates, according to data from the detection means, the amounts of displacement (A1-A4) of the front end of the tire-constituting member relative to preset reference positions (K1, K2), and drives, according to the result of the calculation, the first holding means so that the front end of the tire-constituting member is located at the reference positions, the control unit driving the first holding means while the rear end of the tire-constituting member is held by the second holding means.
