Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a device for supporting a horizontal pipe in four directions, wherein two struts capable of simultaneously withstanding horizontal earthquake loads in the axial direction (longitudinal direction) and in the direction (transverse direction) perpendicular to the axial direction of a pipe are coupled to a single clamp such that deformation and fracture of the pipe can be prevented; the configuration of the struts is simplified such that the same can be manufactured at a low cost; and a functionality is provided to enable the operator to easily check the angle of coupling between the clamp and the struts in installing same, thereby allowing a convenient and accurate installation operation. Another purpose of the present invention is to endow the function of a hanger such that the normal operational process of installing struts once again after the pipe hanger is installed becomes unnecessary. The present invention comprises: a clamp member fixed so as to surround the pipe; and a first strut and a second strut, one end of each coupled to the clamp member, and the other end coupled to a bracket fixed to a slab. The clamp member comprises a first member configured in a semi-arc shape, a second member configured in an arc shape at an angle of 120-150º, and a third member configured at an angle of 30-60º from the vertical direction. The first strut is configured to be fixed to the bracket fixed to the slab between flanges coupling the first member and the third member, and is installed to incline at an angle of 30-60º from the axial direction (longitudinal direction) and vertical direction of the pipe so as to endure horizontal earthquake load in the axial direction (longitudinal direction) of the pipe. The second strut is configured to be fixed to the bracket fixed to the slab between flanges coupling the second member and the third member, and is installed to incline at an angle of 30-60º from the direction (transverse direction) perpendicular to the axial direction and vertical direction of the pipe so as to withstand horizontal earthquake load in the direction (transverse direction) perpendicular to the axial direction of the pipe.
