Abstract:
A device, system and method for automatically configuring application terminals in a home network. The method according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: receiving the identifier information of an application terminal by a home gateway, wherein the identifier information of the application terminal is sent by the application terminal via DHCP; sending the identifier information of the application terminal to the public network by the home gateway via DHCP to help the identification of the DHCP server corresponding to the auto-configuration server to which the application terminal pertains; by the home gateway via DHCP, from the DHCP server on the public network, obtaining the address information of the auto-configuration server to which the application termianl pertains; sending the address information to the application terminal such that the application terminal could obtain the configuration information from the auto-configuration server on the basis of the address information to perform auto-configuration. With the embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to solve the problem that the application terminal can not obtain directly the ACS URL via DHCP in the home network, such that the 0-configuration of the application terminal could be realized.
