Abstract:
A device for taking samples of bed-rocks from the bottom of deep-water reservoirs is provided with a working member executed as a split casing member (5) having an open bottom and containing inside an envelope (6) breaking under the action of an initiating device (7) at the moment of contact of the working organ with the bottom of the reservoir and a device for gripping and retaining the sample.
