Abstract:
Provided is a testing apparatus which tests a device to be tested. The device to be tested is provided with a circuit to be tested, and a switching section which connects an internal terminal to be tested, out of at least one internal terminal of the circuit to be tested, to an external terminal. The testing apparatus is provided with a measuring section which controls a relaying section, which connects the two external terminals having the testing apparatus connected thereto to each other or disconnects the terminals one from the other and permits the transmission characteristics in the connected state to be calculation reference of the transmission characteristics between the external terminal and the internal terminals of the circuit to be tested, so as to have the relaying section in the connected state, and measures the transmission characteristics of the relaying section via the two external terminals. The testing apparatus is also provided with a compensating section which compensates, based on the measured transmission characteristics of the relaying section, a signal to be supplied to the circuit to be tested via the external terminal and the switching section or compensates a signal acquired from the circuit to be tested via the switching section and the external terminal.
