Abstract:
A device and method for testing friction, accurately measuring in a dynamic state a physical amount relating to friction such as friction force etc. representing friction characteristics between objects to be measured. A first object (21) to be measured is installed on a movable section (10C) provided so as to be movable along a guide section (10B), and a second object (22) to be measured is pressed to the first object (21) to be measured installed on the movable section (10C). An object, a combined body of the first object to be measured and the movable body, is moved with the first object pressed to the second object, and inertia force of the object when moved is measured as friction force acting between the first object and the second object.
