Abstract:
A device for throwing balls comprises a pusher (16) interacting with a striker (12) through a synchronising mechanism (21) provided with a crank (22) fixed on a driving shaft (23) and connected to the pusher (16). The crank (22) is adapted for joint rotation with the driving shaft (23) at the same speed and for rotation at a higher speed than that of the driving shaft at the moment when the pusher (16) moves the ball (6) to the strike position. For that purpose the driving shaft (23) and the crank (22) are provided with protrusions (31, 32) intended for their interaction. The striker (12) also has a protrusion (33), whereas a clamp (36) is fixed on the casing of the drive (24) and a spring-loaded stop (34) is mounted on the crank (22) to interact with the protrusion (33) of the striker (12) and with the clamp (36).
