Abstract:
A device for treating cat excrement according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a case in which an upper case and a lower case are coupled to form an entrance in the front through which a cat enters and exits; a drum installed so as to incline on the inside of the case to separate cat excrement and excrement treating material while being rotated by the driving force of a motor; a sand filter installed rotatably inside the drum to separate and discharge the cat excrement and the excrement treating material; a driving unit installed on one side of the lower case by means of a motor bracket and including a rotary shaft and a motor for rotating the drum by means of the driving force; and a controller installed between the case and the drum to treat the excrement by controlling the motor of the driving unit by sensing the entrance and exit of the cat using an optical sensor, an ultrasonic senor, and a weight sensor that are located in the back of the drum and at the drum entrance. The present invention has the effects of: enabling cat feces and urine to be automatically treated; enabling a cat to easily defecate without stress; enabling odor generated from an excrement collecting box to be quickly blocked by opening or closing an excrement discharging hole; and preventing the odor from spreading indoors.
