Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device type and geographical position based data deduplication method and device. The method comprises: receiving by an Internet-of-Things access node a deduplication instruction issued by a filter gateway and intercepting massive Internet-of-Things data reported by a large number of terminal devices within a wireless coverage range of the node, each Internet-of-Things data comprising data contents, and geographical positions and device types of the terminal devices; deduplicating, according to the deduplication instruction, by the Internet-of-Things access node the Internet-of-Things data reported by terminal devices of a same device type in a plurality of terminal devices of which the geographical position is a certain geographical position in the large number of terminal devices, to obtain multiple pieces of deduplicated Internet-of-Things data; and encapsulating the multiple pieces of the deduplicated Internet-of-Things data and the massive Internet-of-Things data excluding the Internet-of-Things data reported by the plurality of terminal devices into data elements, and reporting the data elements to a convergence unit. The embodiments of the present invention can alleviate the reporting burden of an Internet-of-Things access node and the processing burden of a convergence unit.
