Abstract:
A device for use in water treatment and material separation, the device comprising a power supply (1), an anode chamber (2), a cathode chamber (3) and a membrane unit (4); a positive electrode of the power supply (1) is connected to the anode chamber (2), and a negative electrode is connected to the cathode chamber (3), while the membrane unit (4) is located between the two electrodes; the membrane unit (4) consists of an ion exchange membrane and a water-permeable membrane. Further disclosed are a method for separating materials by using the device for use in water treatment and material separation as well as an application of the device for use in water treatment and material separation.
