Abstract:
A device for vacuum supplying molten metal, capable of efficiently supplying the molten metal to a molten metal conveying ladle.
A device for vacuum supplying molten metal to a molten metal conveying ladle (2) equipped with a ladle body (20) having a pouring opening (26) into which molten metal is poured and also having a containing space (21) which contains the molten metal. The device is provided with: a lid plate (3) which is supported above the ladle body (20) so as to be vertically movable and which can close the pouring opening (26) of the ladle body (20) to seal the containing space (21); a lifting mechanism (4) for vertically moving the lid plate (3); a molten metal supplying pipe (6) provided to the lid plate (3), the molten metal supplying pipe (6) connecting the inside and outside of the containing space (21) and capable of supplying molten metal to the containing space (21); a vacuum device (5) for reducing the pressure within the containing space (21) and introducing molten metal into the containing space (21) from the suction opening (60) at the front end of the molten metal supplying pipe (6); and a support mechanism (7) for pivotably supporting the ladle body (20).
