A device having a stabilization leg movable between a use position and a stored position and adapted to lock the stabilization leg against easy movement in the use position, and to easily cancel the locked state of the stabilization leg in the use position when nothing wrong takes place even if the stabilization leg is moved; and an image display device . A stabilization leg (4) is movable between a use position projecting outward beyond the outer edge of the ground-engaging portion of a device main body (2) and a stored position stored inwardly of the outer edge of the device body. When in the use position, the stabilization leg is locked against movement by lock means (10, 10) disposed on the device main body, and the lock by the lock means is cancelled by a pressure from below or from the side.
