Abstract:
An opening/closing device has a main plate which is affixed to a first housing, an arm plate which is affixed to a second housing, a hinge mechanism which supports the arm plate so that the arm plate can rotate relative to the main plate between a closed position and an open position, a slide plate which is provided to the arm plate in a slideable manner, and a pressing means which presses the slide plate. When the arm plate opens and closes relative to the main plate, the pressing means presses the slide plate so that the second housing is in contact with the first housing, and the slide plate slides relative to the arm plate according to the state of contact between the first housing and the second housing.
