Abstract:

When a bearing inspecting device comprising a vibration detector (1), a vibration analyzer (3) and a judging device (5) is used, the vibration of a bearing (B) is detected with the vibration detector (1), while the effective value, the maximum value, the crest factor, the outer ring occupation factor, the inner ring occupation factor, the roller occupation factor, the rotation occupation factor, etc. of the vibration are measured with the vibration analyzer (3). The judging device (5) judges whether the bearing (B) is acceptable or not in accordance with whether the measured values exceed respective reference values or not. When a bearing inspection device comprising a quantitative analyzer (30) and a judging device (32) is used, the metal content of the grease sampled from the bearing (B) is measured with the quantitative analyzer (30). The judging device (32) judges whether the bearing (B) is acceptable or not in accordance with whether the measured value exceeds a reference value or not.
